Yellow Moong Dal Paratha

This is a quick, simple and healthy but delicious kid’s lunch box dish. You can serve it with ketchup.

Yellow Moong Dal Paratha

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 3 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Cook the moong dal in pressure cooker by adding 1 cup of water.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, salt in the cooked moong dal. Mix well.
  • Mix 1 cup of wheat flour and knead the dough. Use as much less water as needed. If you think the dough is watery then adjust the wheat flour accordingly.
  • Make dough balls around 3 inches in diameter.
  • Roll the paratha using a rolling pin.
  • Roast it on a pan by applying oil on both the sides. 

Notes

You can add coriander leaves in this paratha. Adjust the chilli powder as per your liking.
