Soak the cashews in water for 1 hour. Alternatively you can put cashews in a microwavable bowl along with water and microwave it for 1 minute.
Pressure cook peas.
Chop onions, carrot, green bell pepper, potatoes. Make big pieces of paneer.
In a pot heat 1 tbsp oil. Fry 1 onion, cashews, garlic cloves, fennel seeds and green chilis.
Make a paste in a blender.
In a pot heat remaining oil. Add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds starts to sputter add asafoetida, green cardamom bay leaf, black peppercorn, cloves and cinnamon stick.
Add remaining onion, potato, carrot, green beans, peas, water and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat covering the pot.
Add green bell pepper and saute for 5 minutes.
Add coriander powder, cumin powder,salt, sugar and kasoori methi. Mix well.
Add puree and mix well. Cook it for another 2-3 minutes.
Add fresh cream and cook for couple of minutes.
Add paneer cubes and saute for 5 minutes.
Turn off the gas. Add well beaten plain yogurt and mix well. Cook it for 5 minutes.
