In a pan add grated pumpkin. Keep it on a low heat and steam it for 5 minutes. Keep it covered.
Add grated jaggery.
Saute it till the jaggery melts.
Turn off the burner and let the mixture cool.
Add wheat flour, rice flour, a pinch of salt and knead a dough.
Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Make small balls of dough.
Take a plastic wrap. Apply some oil on it. Take one ball, press it by hand and make small patties.
Fry the patties in the hot oil on medium heat.
Serve it with clarified butter.
