A Generous Pinch Of Saffron
Instructions
In a mixing bowl take yogurt.
Mix juice of one lemon.
Add water and sugar to it.
With a whisk dissolve the sugar into yogurt and water.
In a microwavable bowl take about 1 tbsp of water and mix saffron in it. Microwave it for about 10 seconds.
Add the saffron to the sweet yogurt.
Add cardamom and nutmeg powder.
Notes
I have used store bought yogurt. Make the piyush a few hours ahead of serving and keep it in the refrigerator. It tastes good when served chilled.
