Instructions
Wash and chop Tondli (Ivy Gourd) horizontally.
In a pan heat oil Add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds starts to sputter, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder, curry leaves.
Add chopped Tondli (Ivy Gourd).
Add sugar, salt, water.
Cover with lid and let it cook on medium heat.
Add freshly grated coconut.
Let it cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
Garnish it with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
