Ingredients
  

  • 25 Ready made Canapes
  • 1/2 Cup Red kidney beans (rajma)
  • 100 Gm Cream Cheese
  • 2 Medium Onion
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1-2 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Soak red kidney beans (rajma) in water for 4-5 hours.
  • Cook the rajma in pressure cooker by adding some salt and a pinch of cooking soda.
  • Drain and remove as mush as water from the cooked rajma.
  • Chop onion and tomatoes into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl take drained rajma, add chopped onion and tomato. Add hot sauce and salt.
  • Mash it.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, take cream cheese and add lemon juice to it. The cream cheese should have a little bit sour taste.

Assembly:

  • In a serving plate arrange the canapes. Put mashed rajma, cream cheese, coriender leaves and a dash of hot sauce and serve it.

Notes

I have used cream cheese and added lemon juice to give it a tangy taste. If you can find sour cream go ahead and use it.
You can also use store bought salsa instead of veggies mentioned in this recipe.
Instead of red kidney beans you can also use store bought vegetarian re – fried pinto or black beans.
