Method
- Remove peas from the pod.
- Heat oil. Add mustard seeds. When they starts to sputter add asafoetida, turmeric powder.
- Add cashews, peas and water.
- Saute for 10 minutes on low flame.
- Blend together coconut, coriander, green chili, ginger, lemon juice.
- Make puree by adding a little water.
- Add this puree to the vegetable.
- Add sugar, salt. Saute for 5 minutes.
- Serve it with chapati.
Notes
I have used only 1 chili. You can adjust the heat as per your liking.
