Yellow Moong Dal Paratha
This is a quick, simple and healthy but delicious kid’s lunch box dish. You can serve it with ketchup.

Yellow Moong Dal Paratha
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Yellow Moong Dal
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 Cup Wheat Flour
- 3 Tbsp Oil
- Salt
Instructions
- Cook the moong dal in pressure cooker by adding 1 cup of water.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, salt in the cooked moong dal. Mix well.
- Mix 1 cup of wheat flour and knead the dough. Use as much less water as needed. If you think the dough is watery then adjust the wheat flour accordingly.
- Make dough balls around 3 inches in diameter.
- Roll the paratha using a rolling pin.
- Roast it on a pan by applying oil on both the sides.
Notes
You can add coriander leaves in this paratha. Adjust the chilli powder as per your liking.
