Carrot Paratha

Carrot paratha is a healthy kids lunch box dish and can be made quickly. It can be served with yogurt or ketchup or green chutney.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 Cup Grated Carrot
  • 1 1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Ajwain
  • 4 Tbsp Plain Yogurt
  • Water
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, ajwain, plain yogurt, chopped coriander leaves and salt to the grated carrots. 
  • Mix wheat flour.
  • Knead The dough using water.
  • Roll the dough using a rolling pin.
  • Cook it on the tava on medium heat using oil on both sides.

Notes

Use of yogurt while kneading the dough makes a soft paratha. This paratha can be served with ketchup/ Plain yogurt or green chutney.
