Tomato Omlet
This omlet dish is a vegetarian alternative to egg omlet. With a few ingredients generally available in Indian household a tasty and quick breakfast dish can be prepared. Sliced bread and tomato ketchup can be served alongside.

- 3-4 Medium Size Tomatoes
- 2 Medium Onions
- 1 Cup Gram Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Grated Ginger
- 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ajwain
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- Fresh Coriander Leaves
- Oil
- Salt
Instructions
- Chop tomato, onion and coriander leaves finely.
- Mix gram flour, chopped tomato, onion, coriander leaves, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ajwain, sugar, salt and water. The consistency should be like pan cake mixture.
- Heat a tava. Add some oil. Cook omlets (pan cake size) on both the sides.
Notes
You can substitute chopped green chilies instead of red chili powder.
