Carrot Paratha

Carrot paratha is a healthy kids lunch box dish and can be made quickly. It can be served with yogurt or ketchup or green chutney.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 Cup Grated Carrot
  • 1 1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Ajwain
  • 4 Tbsp Plain Yogurt
  • Water
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt

Method
 

  1. Mix coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, ajwain, plain yogurt, chopped coriander leaves and salt to the grated carrots. 
  2. Mix wheat flour.
  3. Knead The dough using water.
  4. Roll the dough using a rolling pin.
  5. Cook it on the tava on medium heat using oil on both sides.

Notes

Use of yogurt while kneading the dough makes a soft paratha. This paratha can be served with ketchup/ Plain yogurt or green chutney.
