In a pot heat butter. Add grated carrot and saute for 10 minutes on a low heat.
Add condensed milk and sugar and let the halwa cook for another 10 minutes.
Add cardamom powder. Mix well.
Garnish the halwa with mixed sliced toasted dry fruits.
Notes
Sugar is added to get the right sweet taste. It can be added as per personal liking.To garnish I have used toasted almond and pistachio. You can also use cashews and raisins as well.
