Method
- Wash and chop Tondli (Ivy Gourd) horizontally.
- In a pan heat oil Add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds starts to sputter, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder, curry leaves.
- Add chopped Tondli (Ivy Gourd).
- Add sugar, salt, water.
- Cover with lid and let it cook on medium heat.
- Add freshly grated coconut.
- Let it cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Garnish it with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
