Raw Banana Paratha

Raw bananas contain a lot more vitamins and minerals than ripe bananas. But unlike ripe bananas we cannot consume raw bananas as is. They have a very subtle taste. I make these parathas with raw bananas. This way we can be benefited from the essential nutrients of raw banana. This is a very good option for kids lunch box.

Ingredients
  

  • 5-6 Raw Banana
  • 1 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Ajwain
  • 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • 2 Tbsp Plain Yogurt
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder
  • Oil
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Cut banana into halves and cook them in the pressure cooker (3 whistles).
  • Grate the bananas.
  • Chop fresh coriander leaves.
  • Add ajwain, red chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, yogurt, coriander leaves and salt.
  • Mix wheat flour and knead a dough. 
  • Make dough balls.
  • Dust some flour and roll it with a rolling pin.
  • Roast it on the flat griddle using oil on both the sides.
