Pineapple Raita

Pineapple raita is a yogurt based refreshing side dish. We always eat it with vegetable biryani. It cools your palate after eating spicy biryani. A bit tangy taste of pineapple is well balance with pomegranate seeds and sugar. Chaat masala gives the raita its unique taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Chopped Pineapple
  • 1/2 Cup Pomegranate Seeds
  • 3 1/2 Cup Plain Yogurt
  • 5 Tsp Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • Salt

Instructions
 

  • Mix yogurt, sugar, chaat masala and salt.
  • Let it rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Add pineapple pieces and pomegranate seeds just before serving.
