Paneer Burji
Paneer (cottage cheese) is a crowd pleaser. Almost everyone from kids to grownups likes it. This dish tastes amazing even if it requires a handful of ingredients. It can be made in a jiffy so is a good option for kids lunch box. You can eat paneer burji with roti/ paratha/ naan.

- 100 Gm Paneer
- 1 Large Onion
- 1 Medium Tomato
- 8-10 Garlic Cloves
- 1-2 Green Chilies
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 1/4th Tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4th Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4th Tsp Asafoetida
- 1/2 Tsp Sugar
- 1/4th Tsp Garam Masala
- Fresh Coriander Leaves
- Salt
Instructions
- Chop onion and tomato into small pieces.
- Grate the paneer.
- Make the tadka. Heat the oil then add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds starts to sputter, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, chopped chili and crushed garlic.
- Add chopped onion, sugar, salt and saute it for 10 minutes.
- Add chopped tomato and saute it for 5 minutes.
- Add garam masala.
- Add grated paneer and saute it for 5 minutes.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
